A personalized training session lasting approximately 90 minutes with you and your dog(s) at your home, my home, or other appropriate location. This time is used to address specific issues and to provide you with the skills needed to have a more harmonious life with your pup(s).
May cover how to instill good manners with your puppy plus address common puppy issues such as potty training, mouthing, jumping, digging, and inappropriate chewing as well as introducing basic commands.
May cover basic commands including sit, down, come, stay, leave it, go to your place, walking on a loose leash. Also learn to manage jumping, inappropriate chewing, counter surfing, door dashing, and other common behaviors.
May cover new dog integration, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, fearfulness, or aggression towards dogs, other pets and/or people.
Unlike most facilities, your dog lives in our home as part of our family for the duration of training. This means that there is lots of opportunistic learning that takes place beyond the 8-10 training sessions they receive per day. One private session is included with each week of training.
Establish a reliable potty schedule, when needed. Common puppy issues such as crate training, mouthing/biting, jumping on people, and chewing on inappropriate objects are addressed. Introduce basic commands such as coming when called, sit, down, leave it, go to your place, and walking on a loose leash. Specific commands, such as drop, can also be introduced. All packages are individualized to you and your puppy's needs.
Coming when called, sit, down, stay/wait, leave it, go to your place, and walking on a loose leash are common goals. Don't know where to begin? With one week of training dogs will understand what the introduced commands mean and will give you a fantastic jump start to continue training your dog. With two weeks of training dogs begin to habituate newly learned skills. All goals are individualized. Follow-up sessions with you are included with the training to ensure behaviors transfer to your hom.
Common issues to work on include reactivity to dogs or people, excessive barking, or separation anxiety. A Meet & Greet is required to evaluate your dog and to discuss in depth the changes you want your dog to make.
